Living Water: Broken Silence - Watchman on the Wall

Living Water: Broken Silence - Watchman on the Wall

Broken Silence
by Ron Wilkerson

Follow with me so you may know what it is the Lord is saying this very hour to both His Bride and all the peoples of the earth.

Ezekiel 33:1-11
1 And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
2 "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people, and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman;
3 and he sees the sword coming upon the land, and he blows on the trumpet and warns the people,
4 then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.
5 'He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.
6 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'

7 "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.
8 "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.
9 "But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your life.

10 "Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have spoken, saying, "Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?"'
11 "Say to them, ' As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'

The word's above are not my own, however they have been given to me.  The Lord has prepared me for this hour, this day, and this time when all the world sits at the very precipice of time.  What pray tell is Ron saying to us?  Stay with me readers...

I ask each one of you to look inside, whether you believe in Jesus Christ or do not believe at all, and see if there be some sense of impending disaster.  You can't quite tell what it is right?  It could be numerous things to each of you.  One may say the political climate is troubling, the economy is unsustainable, crime has drastically increased, or perhaps you see the natural disasters occurring worldwide at unprecedented rates.  Why?

The answer is simple and Jesus spoke of this world wide trouble which would occur to his disciples asking what would be the sign of His return.

Matthew 24:3-8 (NASB) [3] As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" [4] And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you. [5] "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many. [6] "You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. [7] "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. [8] "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

So, here is a very simple straight forward answer.  Be careful how you interpret the word "nation" in verse [7], this word actually is "ethnos" in the Greek language and is where we get our modern word "ethnicity".  Simply put friends, this means different ethnicity's would rise against one another near the end.  Look at the news since 9/11/01 and even before, but especially after that infamous date.  Kingdoms would rise against kingdoms, wars and rumors of wars...  Have your ears and eyes become dull?  We see this so much in the daily news that we are no longer sensitive to its seriousness.  People are dying and will continue, all while we live in the Land of the Free, that is Free for now.  *Keep an eye out on your government people, they are stealing your freedoms and counting on you not to notice.   They count on you keeping your head down on that new IPHONE you just purchased so you don't notice or even care what happens, so long as you are happy.  I digress.

Jesus then tells us about the love of these people, the hate turned toward us Christians would be severe.

Matthew 24:9-14 (NASB) [9] "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. [10] "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. [11] "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. [12] "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. [13] "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. [14] "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Have you noticed that you can mention any god you wish in America with no problem, but you even speak the name, Jesus Christ, and you are immediately persecuted?  Tolerance is billed as a great achievement in this country and it has led to some devious achievements.  Homosexuality is now flaunted down our streets while Christianity is looked upon as hate-mongering.  Really?  We are the only religion which will tolerate ALL PEOPLE in love.   Yet for some reason, we are seen as hate filled bigots.  Go figure.

So, when does all this occur Ron?  Again, Jesus makes it clear for all people to see.  All you have to do is SEE people.  Open your eyes and SEE...  You ALL have EYES to see so use them...

Matthew 24:32-42 (NASB) [32] "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; [33] so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. [34] "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. [35] "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. [36] "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. [37] "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. [38] "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, [39] and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. [40] "Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. [41] "Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left. [42] "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

Here is your clue, look above, you cannot know the day He will return.  However, you better SEE because He has made sure you would not miss the season.  Read again His Word....

Matthew 24:43-51 (NASB) [43] "But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. [44] "For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. [45] "Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? [46] "Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. [47] "Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. [48] "But if that evil slave says in his heart, 'My master is not coming for a long time,' [49] and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; [50] the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, [51] and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Don't get caught not looking.  Open your eyes and see.  You must know that Christ is standing at the door, He is very near coming to get His people.  In the passages I have referenced there is even a picture of this event us Christians call the Rapture.  That study will be for another post.

Meanwhile, lift up your heads for your redemption is drawing near.  You feel it as if it were a physical weight pressing on your shoulders.  You know what I am talking about too.  That sense, that notion that things in this world just are not right.  Follow it but watch where it leads you.  If you don't come to the only source for the answers, Jesus Christ, you will fall short of the glory of God and will perish for all eternity.  Make no mistake, you have a choice to make people.  Either you will choose wisely and believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God and receive everlasting life, or you reject the Truth of Jesus and perish for all of eternity.

John 14:6 (NASB) Jesus said* to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

If you have read this post your blood will not be required at my hands when I stand before God.  I love you and hope you will choose wisely.

Who will you serve?  This decision will have everlasting consequences.  You will be without excuse.
